"Take 10"
Ten Steps to
Build Your Relationship with God After Repentance

#1 Believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ as Fact!

#2 Believe Jesus Christ died on the cross to redeem fallen man, of which you are one!

#3 Believe in the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead as fact!

#4 Pray for yourself, your loved ones, your fellowship family, your school mates, the people you work with and the elected leaders of our country as often as you can...

#5 Self denial, you know, doing something different than what you want to do. Example, saying no to that "banana split" or "chocolate cake" for desert! Well you might start that one next week...Huh?

Looking to build a church? Start with yourself! Finding balance is key.

#6 And not just the bible, don't be afraid to read things that support and deny the validity of scripture! This will challenge you to seek out your own salvation in fear and trembling! Then your salvation will be between you and God...

#7
Ask the Lord if you should be baptized...there are plenty of examples in scripture that can help you understand if this is important for you. It's OK to have all or any combination of these scriptures spoken over you during "THE DUNK" ...
Matthew 28:19, Acts 2:38, Acts 8:16-17, Acts 10: 44-48, Acts 19:1-6

#8 Find a healthy local Church that you and /or your family feel comfortable in and can become active in. Don't rush to commit until you know for sure you have found the right one. It's better to miss the right one, than to get the wrong one. Also, if you need to leave a church and find a new one, you should have the liberty to do so...

#9 Don't be afraid to stand up for what you believe in at home, at church, at school, at work and wherever you may go...don't let others kill your faith! Don't be afraid to question authority, when you have legitimate questions or concerns...

#10 Keep your heart focussed on God and not on people, especially leaders, they are just people and will eventually let you down at some point. This alone will help you avoid distractions and keep you from getting hurt!
